Although reggae had hit the U.S. singles charts several times via covers of the Bob
Marley tunes "I Shot the Sheriff" and "Stir It Up" (by Eric Clapton and Johnny Nash,
respectively), the music never made the dent on American culture (and album charts)
that music critics had predicted. For some reason, Rastaman Vibration proved to be
Marley's breakthrough album in America. Not that the album was any better than the
ones that had come before it; in fact, Live!, its immediate predecessor, is an
excellent introduction to Marley's magic. This album found Marley and his Wailers
experimenting a bit more with both the music (listen to the synthesizer on "Who the
Cap Fit") and the polyrhythms. "War," "Rat Race," "Positive Vibrations," and the
beautiful "Johnny Was" (which is, essentially, pure soul music) all became Marley
staples. Ironically, a year late, punk bands would be making efforts to help this

Обзор
Средство удаления вредоносных программ для ОС Microsoft Windows проверяет компьютеры под управлением Windows XP, Windows 2000 и Windows Server 2003 на наличие некоторых распространенных вредоносных программ, например Blaster, Sasser и Mydoom, и удаляет их. После завершения поиска и удаления выводится отчет с описанием результатов, в том числе список обнаруженных и удаленных вредоносных программ, если таковые имелись. При этом создается файл журнала с именем mrt.log в папке %WINDIR%\debug.

Данное средство не заменяет антивирусное программное обеспечение. Для защиты компьютера необходимо использовать антивирусные программы.

Корпорация Майкрософт выпускает обновленную версию этого средства во второй вторник каждого месяца. Его новые версии будут доступны на данной веб-странице, веб-узле Windows Update и на веб-странице средства удаления вредоносных программ веб-узла Microsoft.com.

Для автоматической загрузки и установки последних версий по мере их появления выберите для функции автоматического обновления режим Автоматически. Версия средства, загружаемая с веб-узла Windows Update, будет запускаться на компьютере раз в месяц и выполняться в фоновом режиме. Если заражение обнаружено, при следующем включении компьютера будет выводиться отчет о состоянии. Если данное средство необходимо запускать чаще раза в месяц, пользуйтесь версией с данной веб-страницы или версией на веб-узле средства удаления вредоносных программ.

Список вредоносных программ, которые средство обнаруживает, а также инструкции по его использованию см. в статье 890830 базы знаний Майкрософт. В случае возникновения ошибки или обнаружения заражения средство анонимно сообщает об этом в корпорацию Майкрософт. В указанной выше статье базы знаний содержатся сведения о том, как отключить данную функцию, и о том, какая информация отправляется в корпорацию Майкрософт.

Для запуска данного средства необходимо обладать правами администратора. Средство не будет работать в каких-либо версиях ОС Windows 98, Windows ME или Windows NT 4.0.
